The Lumineers – Dead Sea

You may be like me and first heard of this band from a television commercial… I’m very glad I didn’t fast forward through this one. The Lumineers’ song, “The Dead Sea,” is this week’s Song of the Week.

I would compare this band to Delta Spirit and a little less country Avett Brothers. Either way, they have a pretty emotional sound and heartfelt lyrics, especially in this song. Enjoy.

I skipped a week. My apologies to those who care. Anyway, in honor of my first stint at Lollapalooza tomorrow, I’m posting the song “Little Talks” by Of Monsters and Men, who I will be seeing first.
